Riding the bus is a privilege granted to students who demonstrate good behavior and respect for safety guidelines. Students are expected to follow all school rules and procedures while using school-provided transportation to ensure a safe environment for all passengers. Violations of these rules may result in disciplinary action, including suspension of bus privileges.

Bus Rules

  • Arrive at the bus stop early: Be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Follow the driver’s instructions: The driver is in charge and must always be listened to.
  • Stay seated: Remain in your seat while the bus is in motion.
  • Keep aisles and exits clear: For safety reasons, ensure that the aisle and exits are free from obstruction.
  • Be respectful: Treat both the driver and fellow passengers with courtesy.
  • Avoid foul language: Refrain from using inappropriate language or gestures.
  • Keep body parts inside: Do not place any part of your body out of the windows.
  • Prohibited items: Tobacco, alcohol, drugs, and any illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the bus.
  • No food or drinks: Eating or drinking on the bus is not allowed.
  • Respect school property: Damaging the bus is a serious offense. Parents may be held responsible for the cost of repairs.
  • Do not distract the driver: For your own safety and the safety of others, avoid behavior that may distract the driver. The driver’s primary responsibility is to transport students safely to and from school.

Bus Change Requests

Students must have written permission from a parent or guardian to ride a different bus from the one assigned.

Activity Bus Schedule

The activity bus will run as scheduled. Students are encouraged to check with their team coach or the athletic director for specific times for updates.
